Statement on Award-Ceremony
It was not carried out crucial vote. In a tie, both proposals were set. It has also been dispensed with a ranking of places. Only the "Daesang" Awards were staffed with only one artist in each category. We would be pleased if the decision of the jury convinced the k-pop / j-pop fans in Asia and around the globe.
For all members of the jury it was a honor to reward music artists with such outstanding achievements. They are all absolutely world class! Thank you very much!

A) Most Innovative K-Pop Entrepreneur (2015): Park Jin-young
For special achievements of creativity and innovation to establish new groups we honor J.Y. Park of JYP Entertainment. The owner of JYP meets the taste of the audience exactly. His unerring sense for talented artists, as well as his claim to new groups, has become a benchmark for the K-pop industry.
A short company description
JYP Entertainment is a South Korean entertainment company founded by Park Jin-young based in Seoul, South Korea. The company operates a record label, talent agency, music production company, event management and concert production company as well as a music publishing house. The record label is also one of the three big record labels in the K-pop industry, alongside SM Entertainment and YG Entertainment.
JYP Entertainment has been the home of artists like Park Ji-yoon, god, and Rain. The label's current roster of recording artists includes: Wonder Girls, 2AM, 2PM, Miss-A, Baek A-Yeon, Sunmi, GOT7, DAY6 and Twice.
B) Entertainer Award (2015) to:Don & Defconn (Hoster of "Weekly Idol" TV show)
With their entertainment concept they have produced more than 230 TV shows since 2011. Don and Defconn and their team have successfully presented the hard work, the skills and personality of k-pop artists to a large audience in Asia and beyond.
C) Producer Award (2015) for: “THE LIGHT” by THE ARK
IN MEMORIUM - to all victims by catastrophes and accidents - we honour the producer team (on Earth and from Beyond) of an inspired and sophisticated MV named “THE LIGHT” by THE ARK (label Music K Entertainment). The jury was deep impressed.
