[From dramafever] Family Guy catches the K-drama and K-pop fever! In the January 3, 2016 episode of the American adult animated series titled "Candy, Quahog Marshmallow," Peter, Cleveland, and Joe find out that once upon a time, Quagmire starred in a K-drama series called Winter / Summer…hmm, Winter Sonata anyone? The men binge watch the series until they find that the last VHS tape is missing. Unable to find it on the internet, they do the next logical thing: they head to South Korea in search of it.

When in South Korea, you can’t forget the K-pop! Their first exposure to it is in the form of a 15-second music video clip of “Touch My Body” by SISTAR. Peter is immediately hooked, saying what I imagine most K-pop fans say the first time they watch a K-pop MV: “What is this, and how can I make the rest of my life about it?”

Later, Quagmire is coaxed to come back home in the form of a song done to the tune of HyunA’s “Bubble Pop.” During the parody, familiar K-pop music video sets, clothing, and dance moves are spotted.
