Looking For New Non-Idol Music

I've become a bit lazy these days and would love for people to give me their suggestions on artists (soloists, duos, groups whatever) I haven't heard of/listened to yet.

So I can do rap, synth, trap, house, euro-dance, rock, trot, ballads etc. Only things I'm not super keen on are RnB and bubblegum pop, however there are a few exceptions. I prefer wholesome vocals rather than higher pitched ones, so those would help.

EXO fans taken advantage of in sales of Chen's musical tickets?

EXO fans found out that a specific section of seats for Chen's new musical were being sold for VIP/$30 higher on days that he was performing and sold as regular 'R' seats on days he wasn't. Reps called it a mistake, but fans are upset that they're being taken advantage of.

1. [+181, -25] It's not like it's the first time SM does something like this. They even took away discounts on the last day of musical performances, on top of taking away card benefits on days that tickets sell well. SM just cares about money.

2. [+141, -16] What do you expect out of SM. They're a company based off of taking money from little children and sucking their parents dry.

3. [+101, -26] Of course stupid fangirls are being taken advantage of. They're pretty much wallet slaves to these celebrities. But of course they enjoy handing all their money over and wasting their own time for these stars ㅋㅋㅋ They'll realize once they get older just how much of a waste it all is.

4. [+28, -8] Are you guys idiots, it's the musical producers who are at fault here, why are you blaming SM

5. [+27, -8] The only people who don't realize that fans are being taken advantage of are the actual EXO fans themselves. They think they're VIPs who are putting food on the table for EXO but in real life they're just walking ATM, wallets that get taken advantage of.

6. [+19, -11] Why are people hating on SM when they didn't even produce this musical?

7. [+11, -4] I don't think spending all your money on your favorite star is good either but who cares what other people choose to spend their money on? It's not like they're committing a crime ㅋ

9. [+12, -9] It's true that fans are being taken advantage of but let's not start calling them slaves and all... these stupid fangirls are willingly volunteering their time and money to them. They're no slaves.

Hongki has one of the best voices in Korea, but there is one thing he's bad at and that is singing the falsetto. Despite his powerful voice, he has a small and weak vocal nodule. Though in some of his recordings he sings the falsetto, but at live performances he never sing these

I saw that the website got really salty this end of the year and I just wanted to see positive stuff one time around. Basically, in this thread, you spread love and appreciation for K-Pop this year.
I'm seeing people butthurt about BigBang snatching all of the awards, but honestly though, they deserved it. That's coming from someone who didn't like any of their releases. I will admit that I threw some shade at them this year but that wasn't to take seriously. After all anyone who made my biases smile deserves some love.

But seeing how hard your boys worked to get where they are, I think you guys are really luckyto be part of such an awesome fandom. I feel like it may look noisy and obnoxious from the outside but that there's a really strong and loving community in there. +Dope is my jam

things you will get when being Kpoppers in Korea

*this is my own experience when I'm in Korea for 2 years*

Good things:
1.You can get a chance to see Gayo, Music Bank for free (2013-2014)(but I don't think so it still like that or not)
2. You can buy your idol T-Shirt cheaper than you buy it in your country
3. When you come to Cube Cafe, your chance to meet your BTOB oppas, 4minutes eonni, Apink eonni or other is 75%...
4. If you live near with your bias apartment, I could see them ohohoho! + sasaeng fans too -_-'''

Bad things:
1. Korean will swear at you. (so please don't tell Korean that you're Kpoppers)
2. Korean feel that most non-Kpop fans are annoying.
3. It so hard to meet K-idol in streets or any public place
4. Not all Korean are Kpoppers (even my Korean neighbors don't know who is Exo and CL lol)
